Would you like to join us and the wonderful folks from Ecocentre St Kilda and Village Zero to explore the coastline between Sandringham and Black Rock beginning at the Jetty Road Car Park (Sandringham) https://maps.app.goo.gl/qhLoBGLY4Rbfvu5q7 and ending just south of Black Rock this Sunday?

GETTING THERE AND BACK: If you’re coming by train, it’s about 10 minute walk from the station to the car park. Note, there are buses back from Black Rock to Sandringham every 20 minutes around the middle of the day and the walk should take about 2 hours. It should be low tide, so we will be able to walk along the beach for the entire length.

PARKING: There is free on-street parking at Georgiana St and other residential streets nearby.
ATTIRE: Dress for the weather. At the moment it’s showing a high of 18 degrees, with a very small chance of the odd light shower but mostly sunny.
Meet and learn
This will be a great chance to meet some of our community members and experts, and learn from each other about our coastline, both above and underwater (its history, geology, nature and coastal processes).
See you there!
